Hock Lian Huat Foodstuff Industry (HLH) is one of the oldest-running pioneers in the manufacture and supply of Traditional Five Spice Chinese Snacks (Wu Xiang). Building on three generations of experience and innovation, HLH boasts of over 40 different types of Traditional Five Spice Chinese Snacks (Wu Xiang) that embody the best of Singapore’s food heritage.

Authenticity

HLH makes sure that the taste of our products remains true to the original family recipe passed down by our founder, the late Mr Tan Gim Teh, when he came from Xiamen, China, in 1928 – a taste that has stood the test of time, and earned us a reputation as a manufacturer of authentic traditional Chinese snacks.

HLH uses only the best ingredients from reliable suppliers. Even with the rising costs, we do not cut corners by using lower grade alternatives. In fact, we make use of modern technology and equipment to improve our processes, to ensure the highest quality products.

Gim’s Heritage is a retail brand by HLH. Its product range includes a wide array of prawn-, squid- and fish-based snack food in convenient packs. These are widely available in the frozen section of supermarkets in Singapore and abroad.
